Treatment

"Fascia, making up roughly one-third of body's weight, this is our primary focus when addressing pain or discomfort".

Osteopathic Treatment

"Your body responds to the life it's living—doing its best with what it’s been given."

At our practice, we work with the fascia to support your body’s natural healing process. By enhancing circulation and releasing tension, we help improve mobility, promote relaxation, reduce pain, and support a more balanced and resilient body.

  • Recent research shows that fascia plays a more important role in terms of health, pain and discomfort than previously known.
  • Fascia is a network of connective tissue with no beginning and no end that encompasses the whole body – from muscles and skeleton to organs and cells.
  • Fascia is responsible for more than one third of the bio-mechanics, it contains most of the body's pain receptors and almost all internal communication of the body happens in the fascia system.
  • If the layers of fascia stick together or becomes inflamed, it can decrease mobility and cause pain.
  • Fascia is affected by age, genotype, diseases, medication, nutrition, social stress, sleep, pollution , psychological stress and much more.
  • You could argue that anyone with a modern lifestyle would benefit from regular fascia treatment.

Using the latest technology from Sweden within the treatment of fascia.

Fascia is the body’s largest, most continuous organ — a network of connective tissue with no beginning or end that surrounds everything: muscles, skeleton, organs, and cells.
New research shows fascia matters far more to health, pain, and recovery than previously thought. Most pain receptors are located here, and nearly all communication in the body runs through the fascia.
When fascia stiffens, sticks together, or becomes inflamed, we feel pain, lose mobility, and recovery worsens. Factors like age, stress, illness, medication, and a sedentary lifestyle negatively affect fascia — which is why regular fascial treatment can be valuable for most people.

How it works

1. Increase flow (3–12x)

Boost fluid flow and support the body’s self-healing.

2. Relaxation & mobility

Release stiff or dry tissue to restore smoother movement and improve gliding function.

3. Pain modulation

Varying frequencies gently overload receptors for a strong effect without pain.

Through 400 to 1200 harmonic pulsations per minute, the machine creates waves which spread through the fascia like rings on water and large areas can be treated quickly, both deep and wide.

How does treatment with the machine affect the body?

The treatment may be very gentle, but an incredible amount happens in the body.
In short, the machine does three things:

  • Relaxation/mobility: Relaxes the fascia (mechanical stress/manipulation) and helps strained areas that are stuck together or dry to loosen up and increase gliding function.
  • Pain relief: Pain receptors are located in the fascia and are stimulated by the machine's vibrations and overloaded by the machine's changing frequencies = significant effect without causing pain.
  • What does the machine help against? The machine increases the body's own ability to heal and is mainly used to improve mobility, relaxation, circulation, and fluid flow in the body.
