Lymphatic System

Lymph is a clear fluid that circulates throughout the body and normally drains back into the bloodstream through an extensive network of lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes.

Often referred to as the body's "monitoring system," the lymphatic system plays a vital role in maintaining health by helping to keep the blood clean and the body's cells functioning optimally. It filters and removes waste products, toxins, and harmful microorganisms while helping to regulate fluid balance throughout the body.

A healthy lymphatic system is essential for supporting the body's natural defence against infection and disease. It also plays a critical role in the function of the immune and cardiovascular systems, contributing significantly to overall health, vitality, and well-being.

Through specialised treatment techniques, the lymphatic system can be gently stimulated to encourage healthy lymphatic flow. This may assist the body's natural processes in the removal of waste products, excess fluid, toxins, and other unwanted substances, supporting recovery, tissue health, and overall function.
